Ben
The breakfasts were tasty, with cooked dishes and toast available, and at an optional special rate. The hotel room was luxurious, extremely spacious, and well-equipped with central heating, an iron, and an electronic key card. The venue is conveniently situated in the very central position of Romsey, a pleasant market town at the edge of the New Forest, with easy access to restaurants and pubs.

Spotless and compact units with a view of the abbey.

We enjoyed our excellent and cozy room with a spacious bed, and the convenient proximity to King John's House here made our stay even better.

A beautiful Inn with all the comfort you would expect from a class hotel. Despite a relatively late arrival shortly before the kitchen closes, we still got a very good dinner - served with a smile on our faces. Excellent.
If there is anything to complain about, it is the lack of parking facilities directly in front of the hotel. Starting at 8:00, "the dime grave will be happy". Long-term parking spaces are 5-10 min walk away.

Well, no lift.

From the moment I checked in, every one was very courteous, very helpful and pleasant - nothing was tooo much trouble. The room was clean and very comfortable. I would defineately stay again and would recommend it to friends and family.
I felt that the price of an English breakfast was far too expensive and did not warrant the hefty price.

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. We were the only family there and they were really kind to the children. The rooms were lovely as were the bathrooms and we loved the nice touches such as The White Company toiletries in the bathrooms. We only ate breakfast in the hotel as we were out every day but the food was fab. The hotel is itself is beautiful. It is in a very good location as the beach, Southampton, Moores valley park and Paultins Park (Peppa Pig World) are just a car journey away.

The most sublime chateaubriand we have ever eaten, and we have eaten quite a few! Very courteous and helpful staff and a lovely atmosphere all round. A perfect place to spend the night before leaving Southampton on a cruise, the docks are only 20 minutes away.

This hotel was exceptionally good. It was right in the town centre of Romsey, nicely decorated and furnished, my room was a good size and very comfortable and the staff were exceptional. Based on my experience, I would definitely highly recommend. 10/10.
I wasn't there long enough to try the food, I suspect that would have been very good too.
